Inhibition of KOS/tk12 infection of HVEM-expressing CHO cells by soluble HVEM proteins. Increasing amounts of sHA₁₀₂ (A) or sHA₁₆₂ (B) were preincubated with the virus for 1 h at 4°C prior to infection of CHO-HVEM-12 cells (MOI = 1) for 1 h at 37°C. The cells were washed and infection was measured 7 h later by ONPG assay. Values are averages of triplicate determinations.
