Effect of F103L, M106I, and F103L + M106I NS1 mutations on the rate of viral protein synthesis in MDCK. MDCK cells were infected with each of the rPR8 viruses at a MOI = 3 and pulsed for 1 hour with ³⁵S at 2, 4, 6, and 8 hpi. Cell lysate was collected after pulse and used for SDS page and autoradiography. The experiment was performed twice and a representative SDS-page analysis is shown.
