The bisistronic PB1 gene segment of Influenza A Virus. Here we see the two open reading frames of the PB1 gene segment of Influenza A Virus. The red segment corresponds to the alternate reading frame that encodes the PB1-F2 protein whose start site is 120 bp downstream of the PB1 polymerase gene.
